PPA Soccer All Star Program
About
For competitive players born between 2019 and 2017.

Spring Teams
Play on a competitive team with other all-stars.
Practice 1-2 times/week with games on the weekends. Season starts end of March and runs through early June.

Flexible Practices
We'll offer 3 practice days a week. And you can choose to attend 1 or 2 of them:
Boys All Star Team Practices: Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays
Girls All Star Team Practices: Monday, Wednesday, Fridays

Play on Development Team,
too
We know many all-stars will want to continue playing on their local friend team, too, this spring. So we organize the schedules so you can do both, and we'll provide $150 off!
Pathway to Premier
These all-star teams are a good way to get a head start into PPA's Premier Program.

Join
We are planning to form teams in the 2019, 2018, and 2017 age groups. By filling the form out below you will secure your players spot on a spring all star team.
Where are practices held?
-
Practices take place in Northwest D.C. and Montgomery County. Locations may vary slightly from season to season, but common practice sites include:
-
The Georgetown Day School
-
The Field School
-
Norwood Park
-
Ray’s Meadow Park
-
Burning Tree Elementary School
Where are games played?
-
All-Star teams will be placed in the Development League one year up, meaning they will compete against older teams to further their development. Game locations will be similar to those used in the fall season, including:
-
Georgetown Day School
-
The Field School
-
North Bethesda Middle School
-
A full game schedule will be provided before the season begins.
Which league will the team play in?
All-Star teams will compete in the Development League, playing one year up. This means players will face stronger competition to accelerate their development while still playing in familiar locations with structured league play.
Can my child join an All-Star team with friends?
-
No, PPA selects and organizes players for All-Star teams based on their abilities, as observed in prior seasons or through tryouts. Team placement is determined by our coaching staff to ensure the best developmental environment for each player.
Can my player play on both their current Development Team with friends and this All-Star team this spring?
-
Yes! We set up the schedules to make this possible. The All-Star team will offer three practice sessions per week, and players can choose to attend one or two of them. This gives you the flexibility to continue attending practices with your Development Team.
-
Additionally, we offer a $150 discount to players who are playing on a Development Team in the spring, making the All-Star program only $350 instead of $500.
How does registration work?
-
To register, parents need to fill out the form above and submit a $50 deposit to secure a spot on the team. Once enough players submit their deposits, we will officially form the team and send out a team code for registration.
-
At that point, players will be able to:
-
Register for their team
-
View their team roster and schedule
-
Communicate with other parents through our team messaging platform
How much does the All-Star program cost?
-
The program costs $500 for the season, which covers:
-
10 weeks of practices
-
8 weeks of weekend games
-
If a player wants to participate in both their Development Team and the All-Star team this spring, we will provide a $150 discount to the All-Star program, making the cost only $350.
Who will be coaching the All-Star teams?
All-Star teams will be coached by higher-level coaches who specialize in competitive technical development. Our coaching staff is focused on providing advanced instruction to help players refine their skills, improve tactical awareness, and compete at a higher level.
