Development Futsal

PPA Development Futsal Leagues are one of PPA's most popular programs. Similar to our Soccer Leagues, players can join as free agents or with a group of friends to play on school or neighborhood teams. Each team is managed by a professional coach who follows a developmental curriculum built by PPA and D.C. United Staff. League games are meant to be fast paced and competitive. Each Futsal League ends its season with a Showcase Tournament designed to highlight the players' growth and skills. Our Development Program is all about instilling passion for sports and a passion for personal growth.

We have 2 goals with our Development Program:

1) How can we recreate all the great moments we all had as youth athletes?

2) How can we build an environment that maximizes on the profound lessons taught only through these moments in sports?

To accomplish these goals, we try to provide flexible options for parents and a fun atmosphere for players where they are encouraged to make mistakes. We want players to want to come out, to be there every day rain or shine, in order to build up that passion for play.
