Head Coach - 6th Green Girls,

Head Coach - 4th Green Girls

  • Eli joined PPA in 2016.

  • After playing basketball at Blair High School, Eli got his journalism degree from the University of Illinois and worked for SLAM Magazine, a hoops-heavy publication.

  • Now, in addition to running the PPA Premier program, Eli also coaches the Varsity Girls Basketball team at Northwood High School.

  • Damario grew up playing multiple sports from an early age.

  • Focusing on basketball in his later years, he has learned the game over that time span and is excited to give back and share his knowledge of the game with the next generation.

  • Damario played 3 years of varsity basketball at Northwood High school, has coached at summer basketball camps for 4 years.

  • Steff's playing and coaching experience started at a very young age.

  • In high school, he played at the Maret School in Washington, D.C. from 2010-2014. During that time, Steff won two league championships and had the chance to play for the DC State Title in 2014 at Capitol One Arena.

  • After high school, Steff played Division II basketball at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, W.V. from 2014-2018. 

  • After his college playing career, Steff went down to the state of Florida to be a Graduate Assistant Coach at the University of Central Florida from 2018-2020.

Marty Robinson


Assistant Coach - 5th Green Boys

  • He has been fortunate enough to play for over 10+ years and coach for 5+ years. Over the years he became dedicated to mentoring youth.

  • Marty believe that fundamental life skills can be taught through the art of basketball. 

Tracy Wade


Head Coach - 5th Blue Girls

  • Coach Tracy was born and raised in Houston, specifically in New Caney and attended New Caney High School where he was a 4 sport varsity athlete, where he played football and basketball, while participating in track and field and cross country.

  • In 2014 he joined the Marine Corps and played for his base team. In 2020 Coach Tracy earned an honorable discharge and left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant.

  • Coach Tracy has coached basketball since 2011 and has coached in Senegal and Austria while being stationed abroad. 

Freddy Obame


Head Coach - 7th Blue Boys

  • Originally from Gabon, Africa

  • Played for Monroe College in New York before transferring to the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore

  • Played professionally in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Nigeria, Tunisia, France, and Turkey, and represented his national team of Gabon in the 2015 and 2016 Africa Cup of Nations

  • Played basketball and soccer at Dematha High School, Blair High School

  • Went on to play at McDaniel College, where he received his degree in Business Economics

  • Joined the Player Progression Academy in the fall of 2014

Lindsey Tucker


Director of Operations,

Head Coach - 3rd Green Girls

  • After joining PPA in 2020, Lindsey now works as the Director of Operations and coaches a number of PPA’s hoops teams.

  • Growing up, Lindsey trained as both a basketball and volleyball player before she eventually committed to UVA Wise on a 4 year volleyball scholarship. After graduating from UVA Wise and Georgetown University.

  •  Lindsey now focuses on providing the youth with great athletic experiences as both a PPA Director and coach.

Arnell Milton


Assistant Coach - 8th Green Boys

  • In basketball circles, Arnell is better known as Coach “Mega.” Mega has coached on the high school, travel ball, AAU, college and professional levels.

  • Mega has worked with elementary school players, all the way to NBA players and trained over 100 scholarship players and pros.

  • He has worked camps and events like the Jim Couch Invitational, Nike Skills Academy, USA Basketball Clinics, Jr NBA, Five Star Basketball Camp, Hoop Group Elite Camp, Top Elite Camp, Battle of New England, NYC vs DMV, National Basketball Players Association Camp, just to name a few. 

Drake Goddard

Head Coach - 5th Green Boys,

Head Coach - 4th Green Boys

  • Drake has been coaching with PPA since 2019. He is originally from Fort  Washington, MD and went to The Maret School in DC, where he started on the basketball team and was a two-time All-Conference Selection, two-time Conference Champion and DC State Runner Up.

  • After graduating from Maret, Drake attended Wheeling Jesuit University, where he was a 3 year captain and won 100 games in his career. 

  • After Drake's senior season, he received Wheeling Jesuit’s Unsung Hero Award. 

Morris Smith


Head Coach - 3rd Green Boys

  • Originally from St. Louis, Mo. where Morris played four years of varsity basketball for Hazelwood Central HS.

  • His senior year he scored over 1000 points and ranked #8 amongst high school players in the state of Missouri.

  • He received an athletic scholarship, and ended at The University of Texas - San Antonio.

  • He finished as leading scorer and received All Conference Honorable Mention.
