PPA Premier Hoops’ high school teams are set to take on an elite slate of competition this spring and summer, competing in top grassroots basketball circuits, including MADE Hoops, Zero Gravity Exposure League (ZGXL), and Phenom Hoops showcases. These events will put PPA athletes in front of college recruiters, professional scouts, and some of the best competition in the country.
From our Regional Team to our National Team, PPA has an action-packed schedule ahead as our players prepare to compete on some of the most prestigious basketball stages in the country. With a structured training program, high-level tournaments, and access to advanced player development tools, our athletes are set up for success.
Adding to the excitement, PPA Premier Hoops joined Puma's NXT Pro Circuit last year, further solidifying our pathway for elite players to gain exposure and compete at the highest level.
“This season is a statement for PPA Premier Hoops. We’ve built a program that belongs on these top circuits, and now it’s time to prove it. From our Regional Team to our National Team, we’re competing against the best and giving our players every opportunity to shine.” – Damario, Director of Premier Hoops
A Pathway to Excellence
PPA’s high school teams are structured to give players different opportunities based on their goals, competition level, and recruiting aspirations:
Regional Team – Competes in local independent events, providing elite-level competition with top DMV teams.
Showcase Team – Plays in the Zero Gravity Exposure League (ZGXL), focusing on high-academic players looking for strong recruiting exposure.
National Team – Competes in the MADE Hoops Challenger Circuit, traveling to elite national events to face the country’s top talent.
Each team practices three times per week, including strength & conditioning, skill development, and game preparation. Players also get access to Hudl for film study, recruiting profiles, and a hybrid winter season structure that complements their high school basketball schedules.
