Two of the Best in the State: Maryland 2028 Rankings

This summer marked a major milestone for the program, with two Premier Hoops athletes named to the Prep Hoops Maryland 2028 Rankings:

  • Anthony Carrington (Winston Churchill HS): Ranked #33 in Maryland, Anthony is a dynamic 6'0" PG/CG with explosive athleticism, elite shot creation, and the ability to take over games on both ends.

  • Chase Winokur (Wootton HS): A 6'1" two-way threat known for his motor, IQ, and clutch performances. Chase’s Top 100 nod reflects his consistent growth and leadership throughout the year.

Closing Out the 2024–25 Season

“As a coach, I know what kind of time and energy it takes to show up week after week,” said Damario Clarke, Director of Premier Hoops. “From elementary teams to high school, our staff gave everything — and it showed.”

At the core of what we’re building is a group of people who give more to the game than they take from it,” he added. “We’ve got huge plans to grow the girls' program, continue leveling up our youngest teams, and push for a better all-around experience in 2025–2026.”

Looking Ahead

With over 800 players at Premier tryouts last year and 40+ teams projected for 2025–26, PPA’s momentum isn’t slowing down.

Even in the offseason, our teams are still competing, hitting events like Big Time Challenge, Bump City, Grassroots XL, and Made Hoops Rise Circuit, building chemistry, getting reps, and preparing to hit the ground running.
