Update on our Winter Development Leagues: We’ve run out of spots for new teams to register with a pro coach in the basketball leagues.
Director of Development Hoops, Damario Clarke, notes, "We've seen more registrations than ever before. We hit our capacity only 8 days after we opened registration. Last year it took us 6 weeks to hit our capacity. While we're excited about how strong our winter season is looking, we also know there are more teams that want to join. So now, we are working to increase capacity of our leagues, without undermining the quality we're aiming to deliver this winter."
For any teams that haven't yet registered for the winter leagues, there are still openings for teams to join the basketball league with a parent coach volunteer. There is also availability for new teams join the PPA Futsal Leagues. In the Futsal Leagues, you can still form teams with a pro coach or with a parent coach.
We expect all of options to fill before the start of the season, so we encourage families interested in forming a team this winter to register soon.
