Parent Code of Conduct
As a parent or guardian of a participant in the PPA program, you play a vital role in ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all players, coaches, and fellow parents. By enrolling your child in our program, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines:

Respect and Sportsmanship: Always exhibit respect and good sportsmanship towards players, coaches, officials, and other parents. Refrain from any form of criticism or negative behavior.

Support and Encourage: Support and encourage all players, including your child and their teammates, in a positive manner. Cheer for effort and improvement rather than just results. Do not be critical of any player's performance, including your child's teammates.

Sideline Conduct: Maintain appropriate behavior on the sidelines during practices and games. Do not interfere with coaching, refereeing, or the flow of the game.

Communication: Address any concerns or issues with the coach or PPA staff respectfully and at an appropriate time. Avoid discussing grievances publicly or in front of children.

Coaching and Team Placement: Refrain from pressuring coaches on their coaching style, philosophy, tactics, or team placements for your child. Trust in the coaches' expertise and judgment.

Team Player: Be a good team player with your fellow parents. Foster a positive and supportive community atmosphere.

Attendance: If your child depends on you to get to practice and games, do your best to get them there on time. If you need to miss events, do your best to let your team know in advance.

Support and Representation: Represent the club with dignity and pride. Be good fans by avoiding negative talk about the club, players, and coaches. Encourage a positive environment at all events.

Compliance with Policies: Adhere to all PPA policies and guidelines, including those related to safety, health, and conduct. Ensure your child complies with the rules and regulations set forth by PPA.

Role Modeling: Set a positive example for all players by demonstrating integrity, fairness, and respect at all times.

Discretionary Removal: PPA reserves the right to remove any parent from the program for behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or detrimental to the positive environment we strive to maintain.
Player Code of Conduct
As a player in the PPA program, you are expected to uphold the highest standards of behavior and sportsmanship. By participating in our program, you agree to the following principles:

Respect: Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials. Listen to and follow your coach's instructions.

Effort and Commitment: Give your best effort at all practices and games. Commit to improving your skills and supporting your team.

Sportsmanship: Exhibit good sportsmanship at all times. Congratulate opponents, accept victories graciously, and handle losses with dignity.

Teamwork: Work cooperatively with your teammates and support them on and off the field. Encourage a positive team environment.

Responsibility: Take responsibility for your actions on and off the field. Arrive on time for practices and games, and come prepared with the necessary equipment. If you need to miss events, communicate with your coach and team in advance.

Health and Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and instructions. Report any injuries or health concerns to your coach immediately.

Facility Respect: Treat all facilities with respect. Understand that whenever we are at a field or court, we are visitors and must behave accordingly. Any player or parent who damages or trashes a facility may be held financially responsible for damages.

Compliance with Rules: Adhere to all PPA rules and regulations. Understand that failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program.

Club Representation: Represent the club with dignity and pride. Wear your PPA gear to all PPA events to show your support and commitment. Be respectful and positive ambassadors of PPA both on and off the field.

Coach Code of Conduct
As a coach in the PPA program, you are entrusted with the responsibility of fostering a positive, supportive, and development-focused environment for all players. By coaching with PPA, you agree to adhere to the following standards:

Respect and Fairness: Treat all players, parents, officials, and fellow coaches with respect and fairness. Be an example of integrity and sportsmanship.

Player Development: Prioritize the development, well-being, and enjoyment of each player. Focus on teaching skills, teamwork, and the love of the game.

Positive Reinforcement: Use positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to encourage and motivate players. Avoid negative or punitive measures.

Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices and games. Follow all PPA safety guidelines and protocols.

Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with players and parents. Address any concerns or issues promptly and appropriately.

Professionalism: Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Be punctual, prepared, and organized for all practices and games.
