Team Formation

 

We make forming a team easy for parents! You choose the name, jersey color, and if you want a pro or parent volunteer coach, and then we send you a team code to invite others players to join your team. Parents who form teams get $100 off once they fill the roster to our recommended level.

Coaching Options

• Pro-Coached Teams

  • We assign a PPA professional coach to manage practices and games

• Parent-Coached Teams

  • A parent volunteers to coach practices and games

Roster Sizes: 

• Minimum: 9 - thats how many you need to be elliglbe to play

• Recommended: 12 - the perfect amount of players for best player experience

• Max: 14 - if you have more than 10, we'll advise you to form 2 groups for games.

Registration Deadline for Spring Season: February 28

If you roster meets the recommended number by the deadline, we will automatically refund the card you registered with $100, and email you to let you know its been done.

Practice Schedules

As the team manager, we'll work with you to set a practice schedule for your team. When you register you'll input your practice schedule preferences, and we'll align those with our available permits to provide the best possible practice schedule we can.

Q: What should I do if we can't fill the minimum required number of players?
A: Our program directors will either place Free Agents on your team to meet the requirements or combine your team with another low roster team.

Joining a Team

 

As Free Agent - We will place your players on a team based on their age, gender, your schedule preferences. If you have a few friends you'd like to be placed with, you can note that in your registration.

By Code - When a parent forms a team, they get a code they can share with other players to join the team. If you've been invited to join someone else's team, use the team code to join.

Q: When will my child be placed onto a team?
A: In your confirmation email we will let you know the timeline. Typically, we start placing free agents about 3-4 weeks before the season starts once most of the teams have registered.

Q: When will my child be placed onto someone else's team, or a team with other free agents?

A: We do both. It depends on how many free agents regsiter and how many teams have available roster spots.​

Q: Can I request to join a team with friends or family?
A: Absolutely! Just let us know in the registration, and we’ll try to place you together.

Q: When will I receive information on practice schedules and jersey colors?

A: As a Free Agent, you’ll receive information on practice schedules and jersey colors when you’re placed on a team. Your team’s color will be included in the team name, and practice times will be available in the PPA Portal once you’re assigned to a team.​

When will Schedules be Released?

Practice schedules for Spring Season will be set by March 16, Game Schedules will be set by March 27th.

How are Practice Schedules Determined?

Directors work with parent managers to set up practice schedules based on the team preferences for day time and location and the available permits. ​

How are Games Schedules Determined?

We organize games by age group, gender, and competitive level, aiming to create fair matchups.
