FAQ's

Q. What is the program Philosophy?

We’re not your typical Summer Camp. We're here to spark a love for sport, an understanding of teamwork, and a lesson in resilience. PPA is about creating passionate athletes, shaping character, and leaving an indelible imprint on the next generation's lives.

Q: Do campers need to be on a PPA team to attend?
A: Not at all! Our camps are open to everyone, whether you’re new to PPA or a current participant.

Q: Can I change or cancel my registration after signing up?
A: Yes, you can change or cancel your registration, but our refund policy applies:

  • 100% refund if requested at least 10 business days before the camp starts.

  • 75% refund if requested within 10 business days of the camp starting, unless there are extenuating circumstances (e.g., injury, illness, family illness, or travel delay).

  • No refunds within 5 business days of the camp starting, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Q: What should my child bring to camp?
A: Campers should bring a water bottle, athletic shoes, sunscreen, and sport-specific equipment like a soccer ball or basketball. Don’t worry if something gets left behind—we have extra equipment on hand.

Q: What will my child do at camp?
A: Each day is filled with exciting activities like skill development, sports games, water fun, and team-building challenges. Check out a sample daily schedule above.

Q: Are camps focused on specific sports?
A: Yes, our camps focus on soccer and basketball. Campers will also participate in a variety of activities designed to improve athleticism, teamwork, and confidence.

Q: What are the camp hours?
A: Camps run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Dropoff is from 8:30 to 9:00am, with pickup going from 2:30 to 3:00pm.

Q: What steps do you take to ensure my child’s safety?
A: Safety is our priority. Our camps are staffed by trained professionals, and we maintain a high staff-to-camper ratio. We also monitor weather conditions closely and adjust programming as needed to keep campers safe and comfortable.

Q: How are campers grouped during the day?
A: Campers are divided into groups based on their age, gender, and skill level to ensure activities are appropriate and engaging.

Q: What happens if there’s bad weather?
A: During inclement weather or extreme heat, programming takes place indoors to ensure campers remain active and engaged in a safe manner.
