It was a busy weekend for PPA Premier teams this past Columbus Day weekend, with 10 teams competing in the America's Cup Series Tournament. Each team played three group-stage games between Saturday and Sunday, and many more than that as many PPA teams advanced to the playoffs Sunday afternoon. There were highlights throughout with some exciting matches and thrilling finishes!
We are proud to congratulate our two premier teams that finished as Champions - PPA Premier 2007 Boys United Green led by Coach Jamie and PPA Premier 2009 Girls Spirit led by Coach Annie! Both teams went undefeated throughout the whole tournament and showed a determination that no team was stopping. Well done!
Along with our two teams winning the championship there were also quite a few teams that had great weekends. Special shoutout to our 3 PPA Premier teams that finished as tournament Finalists - PPA Premier 2007 Girls Thorns, PPA Premier 2006 Boys United Blue, and PPA Premier 2008 Girls Reign.
