Team Placement: How it Works
Before registration begins, Team Managers can create teams and receive a team code to share with families. Most teams are formed early. If you don’t already have a code, you’ll likely need to register as a Free Agent.

Jerseys: How it Works
Once a team is registered we build them a custom jersey store. Teams can then choose to use the jerseys we provide or use their own. At games, players a required to wear matching tops.

PPA App: What's it for?
The PPA App is the best way to stay in the loop before, during, and after the season. To download the PPA App click here.

Team & Roster Info
You can form a team anytime before the pool closes. After that, new teams won’t be accepted so we can finalize schedules.
-
Pool Players can register late if space is available
-
Free Agents must register by the deadline to be placed
-
Managers must request approval to add players once rosters are full
Roster Guidelines
Each age group has:

Minimum size: required to play
-
Recommended size: meet this for a $100 rebate
-
Maximum size: no additions unless approved
Uniforms & Jerseys
-
Returning teams reuse their jersey store
-
New teams get a link within 2 weeks of forming
-
Don’t have uniforms yet? Wear matching, numbered shirts in the same color

-
Must play in older sibling’s division

Players can “play up” but not down

IN-SEASON INFO
Special Events
-
Spirit Week: A themed celebration where players dress up (e.g. team colors, crazy socks) to show team spirit. We’ll announce the dates and themes via email and social media.
-
Championship Week (Development Hoops only): The top teams from each division will play their final game during the week following the tournament.
Game Day Logistics
-
If your team doesn’t have enough players for a game, it will be marked as a forfeit. We still encourage teams to show up — in most cases, a scrimmage will still be held during that time slot.
-
Guest players are not permitted. All players must be officially rostered to participate in games.
-
We do not allow game time changes within two weeks of a scheduled game. Earlier requests may be considered but are not guaranteed due to field, referee, and team constraints.
Lost Items
-
PPA does not maintain an official lost and found. If your player left something behind, you’re welcome to contact the school or facility directly to check.
Missing Practices
-
If your practice is missing from the portal, it usually means we’re waiting on a gym or field permit for that day. Your team will be notified before your next scheduled practice.
-
Practice schedules will be updated in the portal as permits are confirmed throughout the season.
Tournaments
-
Game schedules are released on a rolling basis and posted in the PPA Portal. You’ll receive an email once your team’s schedule is live.
-
Tournament schedules are sent during Week 6 (about two weeks before tournament weekend).
-
Seeding for the tournament is based on results from Weeks 1–6. Week 7 is not counted so we can finalize schedules early.
