FAQ's you might get from other parents
Q: When are practices and games?
A: Practices happen once per week and are scheduled based on the preferences I submitted and the permits PPA has available. They typically get released 2 weeks before the season starts. Games are on weekends. Those schedules tend to get released a bit after the practices are released; a week or two before the season starts.
Q: Is this league competitive?
A: The league tries to organize teams by age group and competitive level. If the division we get placed in ends up being too easy this season, we can get promoted to a higher division the following season.
Q: Do we have to buy a team jersey?
A: Jerseys are not included in the cost of the registration. Our team will get a custom jersey store link from PPA where we can purchase jerseys and even fan gear for our players that get delivered to our houses. Or we can also use our own jerseys as long as the colors match.
Q: How long do jerseys take to deliver?
A: If you order a jersey from the PPA store it usually takes 10 days to deliver. If you don't have your jersey in time for the first game, don't worry, you can just wear a shirt with a matching color.
Q: Are there financial aid opportunities?
A: Yes. PPA aims to make sure everyone can play regardless of their financial situation. Here's the link to apply for financial aid.
Q: What if we can’t make a game or practice?
A: No worries — just let me know. Missing occasionally is totally normal.
